Jump Shots

Sorry but the video insert isn't working so you'll have to click the link

This next video displays the method of jumping balls using a jump cue. Jump shots are allowed in sanctioned tournaments, however many bars will not allow it, due to the fact that many people fail miserably and rip or damage the felt. If you want to be able to jump balls you need to know the people that run the bar your playing at and they need to know that you know what you are doing. This video will give you the basic steps to get you on your way to being able to jump balls respectively. Enjoy

Breaking tips

This video is dedicated to help people perform better breaks. You won't be climbing any ladders in the pool realm without first mastering your own manner of breaking the rack. The method Dean uses is very effective and should be used by most new to intermediate players. Once you gain better control of the accuracy of your stroke you should move on to the "8-ball break." It is a very challenging break but when it yields a quick win you will understand how important it can be, especially in competition or money games. Remember always chalk before the break and take a few practice strokes to ensure an accurate, swift and powerful stroke.

Great spin shot

I'll start off my blog with a fantastic spin shot courtesy of Jason Lynch.  I myself can perform quite a spin, but nothing in comparison to this one.  Watching this video alone has pushed me to work much harder on my spin abilities as they do come in handy in tight situations.
Whether you are trying to move a cue ball multiple rails around a table, attempting to break a spin shot record, or simply trying to impress your friends this shot will definitely come in handy.  Enjoy the video and try this shot for yourself!  Just don't rip the felt!

Welcome to my blog

Hello all, this is my first blog and I will be dedicating it to pool strategy, trick shots, and discussion.  I decided to start this blog because I am an avid pool player and I would like to share the game that I enjoy with everyone else that might be interested or may become interested as well. Please bear with me as I get this blog going as I am new to this.
